Memorial Fund

The Center for Positive Living’s Chorale Page Beacon of Light Memorial Fund is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting gift to CPL in honor and memory of your friends and family members who have made their transitions back into Spirit.  All gifts to the fund are used to further CPL’s Vision of a dynamic and inclusive New Thought spiritual community, and CPL’s Mission to teach, promote and practice the principles of New Thought.

The Beacon of Light Fund is named for one of CPL’s most devoted New Thought students and brightest lights, Chorale Page, who made her own transition on October 7, 2008.  The Fund is being established by an initial gift of $10,000 in matching funds offered in her memory by her husband, former CPL President, Ed Page.

While funds remain available, every memorial gift will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000, doubling the good your gift can do for our New Thought Community.  In addition, your gift will entitle you to:

· A bronze, silver, gold or platinum plaque commemorating your loved one on the “Beacon of Light” display being created for the foyer of the Symphony Center on Sunday mornings.

· A personalized page on CPL’s “Beacon of Light” memorial web site with pictures and memories of your loved ones—accessible to anyone on the web.

Of course, both the plaque display and the web site will be cared for and perpetuated as long as the Center for Positive Living exists—as a memorial and an expression of gratitude to our fellow New Thinkers  who have helped to build our dynamic spiritual community.
How to light a…
“Beacon of Light”

First, choose a category for your memorial gift.  While funds last, your gift of 50% for each Beacon category will be matched dollar for dollar to create the full value of the gift you are really giving.

· Bronze Beacon     $500   ($250)

· Silver Beacon       $1000  ($500)

· Gold Beacon        $2500  ($1250)

· Platinum Beacon  $5000  ($2500)

Next, contact the CPL office at 941-366-0275 or speak directly to Rev. David Owen Ritz or Rev. Don Fern to make full arrangements for your Beacon of Light Memorial.

General gifts of any amount are also welcome.  If you do not wish to create an individual memorial, your gift will be acknowledged with the lighting of a “candle” on the web site dedicated to all.

All contributions to the fund are tax-deductible.  CPL is a 501-C3 not-for-profit religious organization and 100% of your gift will be used to further our spiritual mission and goals.
