New Thought is known as "a teaching religion - not a preaching religion." That means that the fullness of our empowering spiritual philosophy is most available to those who attend New Thought classes. When you begin to study the principles of New Thought in depth, you will take away far more from the Sunday Celebration than those who are only casual students.

CPL offers a full curriculum of New Thought courses accredited by the Emerson Theological Institute, the chief accrediting agent for New Thought churches and centers across the country. Our New Thought courses range from basic foundational classes (100 level) to intermediate classes (200 level) to advanced and professional studies (300 and 400 levels).

Every member of CPL should take all four 100 level classes to gain a thorough understanding of New Thought principles and proficiency in applying New Thought spiritual tools such as affirmative prayer in their lives. These are the recommended basics:
