The CPL Youth Celebration is held every Sunday on the second floor. Classes for children 4 to 5 and 6 to 11 years old emphasize the basic teachings of New Thought and Universal Spirituality, specially adapted for young minds:

• God's Spirit is everywhere and inside of everything.
• I am a unique individual and a very special part of God's Spirit.
• God's Spirit always helps and guides me.
• I get better, smarter and more wonderful every day.

In addition, they are taught basic spiritual laws and principles such as "Always treat others the way you want to be treated" and how to do an affirmative prayer. See the "New Thought for Kids" handout on the information table in the coffee room for an outline of the youth curriculum.

Children 11/12 and older are welcome at the Sunday Celebration and usually enjoy the music and the message and take something meaningful away with them. One of our Goals for 2009 is to create a teen (11+) group that meets on evenings or weekends at the CPL Center to view and discuss spiritually themed movies and enjoy other activities. Contact our Youth Directors if you have a calling to help us realize this goal.

Infant and toddler care is also available during the Sunday celebration. All our youth facilitators are experienced working with children and undergo a background check to ensure the safety and quality of our Youth Program.

Volunteers are always welcome to share a special talent with the children or to assist the youth facilitators.
